Day 13

I am grateful that my Papa made it through surgery yesterday. He has had multiple stints put in due to blocked arteries and has been on blood pressure medication for quite a while. Yesterday he had to have knee replacement surgery, but in order to have the surgery he had to be off his blood pressure meds for 5 days. Before surgery the dr warned him he had a 25% chance of having a heart attack on the operation table. Thankfully all went well and he got through with no complications. He is home recovering now.
